The town of Marseille has become, for a few years, the city of the congresses, conferences and other professional meetings. The Palate of the Congresses of Pharo is at 10 minutes of walk and/or 2 stops by the bus n° 83. This same bus 83, starting from the stop of the Old man-Port (Quay of the Belgians) transports you towards the Kennedy Cornice and the marvellous beaches of Marseille and the Balneal Park of Prado. At two minutes from the Hotel, you are on the Old Port and its environment specific to Marseilles (fish market every morning on the Quay of the Belgians, other musical salesmen and groups in all kinds).
From the Old Port, it is possible to take a small train and buses to make a round of the principal historic sites of Marseilles, without an aim to visit Our-Lady of the Guard and to admir up there marvellous panorama of Marseille. |

It is desirable also to reserve a time to take the boats "shuttles" bound for the Islands of the Friuli and/or Castle of Yew. It is also advised to visit the "Calanques" by sea in boat-shuttle starting from the Quay of the Belgians. Finally a small turn towards the district of the Basket, the oldest (2600 years) district of Marseille "Phocéa", is with being advised. Welcome and good stay in Marseille.
